Owing to its impressive height and scale this building of utilitarian design serves to define Cork’s old docklands area, as seen from a distance. Dating from c 1945, the grain store’s walls are of mass concrete with pilaster detail and a flat roof. Its windows are of metal. Founded in Cork in 1839, R & H Hall had a long record of service to Irish Agribusiness.
